My skincare journey of learning how to make my own skincare products has led me to experiment with making body butters. Because after bathing we need to moisturize our skin to keep it hydrated.
Body butters are applied to the skin to moisturize and nourish the skin making it great for dry and mature skin. Body butters do not contain water, unless it is an emulsified body butter product.
As I get older my body, especially my face, craves hydration. Deep hydration. So, I have a focus on using ingredients that benefits mature skin.
I am quite happy with the way it turned out. It feels great on my skin. I am playing around with different body butter formulations. This luxurious body butter helps to nourish and moisturize mature aging skin. The star ingredient in this body butter formulation is shea butter.
